As per prosecution, on August 10, 2023, police got a tip off and raided an unauthorised call centre at Mittal Commercia in Marol area, along with cyber crime and computer experts and arrested 12 persons.

These call centres had duped more than 2,000 Amazon and Microsoft customers, mainly in the US.
