Robert “Bob” Joseph Mesarchik died peacefully on Saturday February 3, 2024 surrounded by his 4 children and other close family, and achieved his lifetime wish of dying in his own home of 56 years.

Mark Mansfield Bahn, MD, PhD, 68, of Rochester, MN, died peacefully on January 25, 2024, at Cottagewood Senior Communities from complications of Parkinson’s Disease with Lewy Body Dementia. His care at Cottagewood was exceptional and he was surrounded by his family. Mark was a much-loved family man, a respected colleague, and loyal friend to many.

Glenn Marvin VanLaningham, 91, died on November 18, 2023, after a short stay in hospice at home in Edina, MN, with his wife Ella and daughter Kate holding his hand, having endured a long journey with metastatic prostate cancer with strength, courage and optimism.

Hollis Dale Feeser, age 94, of Rochester, MN, died Friday, August 18, 2023 at Cottagewood Senior Communities of Alzheimers.

John (Jack) Carter Van Straaten, age 81, succumbed to chronic heart disease on August 28, 2022 in Tucson, AZ. He was born April 8, 1941 in Minneapolis, MN to Jessica and John Van Straaten. He was raised partly in St. Paul, then lived in Faribault, MN, part of the class of 1959. He attended Macalester College, making life-long friends, graduating in economics and political science in 1963.
