exactly what happened here. but it s a summer scorcher. beaches are busy. here at the beach there s an awful lot of sadness. everybody just so upset and concerned and asking questions, wondering why a 7-year-old boy came to camp and then lost his life. reporter: it s heart breaking. the grief is unimaginable for family and friends, shaken to the core over the tragic death of 7-year-old kaiser willis of dorchester. it was a the young boy s body was pulled from the waters off carson beach early tuesday night. boston mayor marty walsh abruptly leaving the democratic national convention in philadelphia to reason to the city after learning what happened. my heart goes out to the family and i need to be here in the city of boston to support whoever needs to be supported. i can t imagine the sadness, the going in their hearts. police say the boy wandered off the summer camp run by the boston center for youth and families. beyond that investigators say they don t know much.
