That hitandrun took place in the parking lot in front of the palace of the legion of honor, thats an art museum located near lands end at lincoln park in the northwest corner of San Francisco. We get live coverage from ktvus jana katsuyama. Shes in front of the legion of honor with more details, jana . Reporter julie and frank, the victim was taken away in an ambulance and we understand he had a severe head injury and a broken collarbone. He was here with his son in the parking lot and tonight you can still see the broken glass on the ground where the thieves smashed the window. Right now police are looking for the two suspects in a silver bmw with tinted windows that likely has damage from hitting the man. San Francisco Police and paramedics found the man on the ground bleeding from the head. The call came in around 4 00 p. M. About a vehicle hitting the victim in the parking lot the front of the legion of honor. He looked pretty badly shaken up,

He looked pretty badly shaken up. So you know, they were bandaged up and putting him on a stretch board. Reporter San Francisco police say the victim had seen two men in hoodies breaking into the black mustang and taking out a cam a flaj backpack. This person had seen two suspects breaking into his vehicle. He attempted to take pictures of the suspects. The suspects then broke into a second vehicle at which point the suspects noticed him taking pictures. Reporter Police Say Witnesses saw the suspects silver car run into the victim. The force of the impact flipped him up on to the top of the windshield before he hit the pavement and the car took off down 34th avenue. By chance an sf muni driver on balboa saw them speed by.
