A Bengaluru woman lost a legal case against Apple India after spilling coffee on her MacBook Pro and being denied repair coverage under AppleCare+. Despite paying for the coverage, the woman was informed that internal damage caused by liquid spills was not covered. The court ruled in favor of Apple India, noting that the woman had already repaired the laptop without disclosing this information.

The 31-year-old woman purchased a MacBook Pro 13-inch laptop on January 5 last year. She paid Rs 1,74,307 for the device and also purchased an AppleCare+ coverage for Rs 22,900, which promised unlimited incidents of accidental damage protection.
