Lewis and Clark celebrates 660 years of staff, faculty service

GODFREY The Lewis and Clark Community College Board of Trustees has recognized 51 faculty and staff for their combined 660 years of service to the college during last Tuesday’s regular meeting.
For the past 34 years, Lewis and Clark has celebrated team members who reach five-year employment milestones with a Service Awards dinner in the fall. However, the Fall 2020 Service Awards event was canceled due to COVID-19.
“I express admiration and gratitude to the dedicated members of our Trailblazer team who have served our mission over the years and contributed to making Lewis and Clark a remarkable college,” said President Ken Trzaska. “I thank each of our service award recipients for their devotion to serve students and advance our collective work.”
recruitment firms don t charge candidates to place them. they charge employers? they charge employers. okay, got it. right. or there s usually an employer will take care of the charge, but it s very rare. no credible placement firm actually charges you to place you. that s a fallacy. don t pay up front. jamie, we all say it s common sense, but if you re on the phone, someone s asking you for personal information, social security numbers, bank accounts, hang up the phone, stay away. as good as it may sound, it s not going to be true. it s not worth it. so finally i want to tell people where they can check out these employment agencies to see if they re under investigation, or if there have been charges. go to the federal trade commission, the better business bureau or check your state s attorney general website. as far as exploring social network recruiting, which i know you re a huge fan of. yes. in the 30 seconds i have left, how can people use that to get a job? jamie
