The MLHU and harm reduction workers in London have found that animal tranquillizers are appearing more commonly in London’s unregulated opioid supply and are encouraging users to be vigilant.

A local member of parliament is calling for public input before council decides if the use of illegal drugs will be permitted at service hubs for Londoners living unsheltered.

Its been over seven years in the making, but the Carepoint Consumption and Treatment Service is set to open on Feb. 28. Located at 446 York St., the harm reduction program offers a clean supervised space for people including consumption, counselling and referrals, harm reduction, and testing for HIV.
