Plant thought extinct in Vermont since 1908 rediscovered on Mt. Mansfield
Vermont botanists had searched Mt. Mansfield, where the plant was last seen, on several occasions over the past decades in hopes of rediscovering the plant. However, all attempts were unsuccessful until last month.
