According to a major analysis of insurance claims published on Friday in JAMA Health Forum, mental health care use rose significantly during the coronavirus epidemic as teletherapy reduced obstacles to frequent visits.There was a 39% rise in mental health visits and a 54% increase in expenditure between March 2020 and August 2022, according to the report. The usage of telehealth has increased by a factor of 10, according to an analysis of 1,554,895 claims for physician visits.
