A civilian-led response team has been launched to help answer 9-1-1 calls involving those in a mental health crisis.

The University of North Florida Physics Department and Astronomy Club invites the community to a free viewing of the partial solar eclipse on Saturday.

If you want to see the eclipse up close in the First Coast through a telescope, you can attend a watch party at two local universities.

A trauma resource session will take place at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 at the St. Louis Public Library-Carpenter Library on South Grand Boulevard for students, parents and community members affected by the shooting at Central VPA High School.
