The kids can get a jump start on the Halloween festivities today at the Carson Tahoe Medical Center. The annual Spooktacular Stroll is a fun time not to be missed. Take a ride on the Ferris Wheel or win your sweetheart a prize at the RSVP Carnival that opens today at Mills Park. Itโs Family Night, so all rides are only one dollar.

Iโm almost convinced that winter is behind us. Almost. Iโve lived here long enough to expect anything, weather-wise, but this sunshine is hard to ignore. It may be a Monday, but with Memorial Day weekend just a few days away, hopefully this week will just fly by.

School is out in Carson City and the summer wasted no time in getting started with the fun stuff. Head down to Mills Park sometime this weekend to enjoy the Nevada State Fair, Rendezvous and Carnival. Carson Valley Days is an annual tradition for those who live in the Minden/Gardnerville area.
