Welcome to the Carson City Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby. Our chapter includes people from Carson City and the surrounding areas who are concerned about climate issues and want to take action to lessen the impact of climate change.

I used to say, “expectations are pre-meditated resentments.” I used to try to stop myself from having expectations, of myself, others, and outcomes. Every time I tried to stop myself, I waged a private war in my head. What I didn’t realize at the time is that I needed to stop communicating with myself so much and start communicating with others.

Nevada Raider Nation, Carson City Chapter will host a game watch at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019 at Jimmy Gs in Carson City. Sunday will be the Raiders last home game in the Oakland Coliseum. Join other die-hard Raiders fans as we bid farewell to what has been the heart of our, Oakland Raiders.

Following the release of Pope Francis’ much-anticipated encyclical dealing with climate change, a volunteer from the Carson City chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby will meet in Washington, D.C. with representatives and senators to press for legislation that places a fee on carbon and returns revenue to households.

Nevada Raider Nation - Carson City Chapter will host an Oakland Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs game watch beginning at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at Jimmy Gs, 301 N. Carson St. in Carson City.

The Carson City Chapter of the Citizens Climate Lobby has moved its meeting online and will use the Zoom app. As we all cope with the pandemic, we can continue to care about and support activities that will help us cope with climate change. Good morning Carson City! Today is Saturday, April 6. While its going to be a bit cloudy today, well have a high of 56 degrees. Sunday and Monday are almost hitting 70, though, with highs at 67 and 68!
