Sorry – It’s such a common word. It’s intention and meaning vary from person to person. It could be nothing more than pre-conditioned response or a heartfelt, sincere understanding of wrongdoing. Regardless of what goes wrong, even in business and customer relationships, the first inclination is to say sorry.

This months meeting will review what is occurring and what we want to do to mitigate the effects of climate change. Nevada Raider Nation, Carson City Chapter will host a Las Vegas Raiders vs. the Kansas City Chiefs game watch Sunday, Dec. 12 beginning at 10 a.m. a Jimmy Gs in downtown Carson City.

Several hundred plants spanning 60 varieties, including vegetables, squash, strawberries, melons, cucumbers, herbs, and perennial and annual flowers will be available May 7 at Carson City’s Greenhouse Project behind Carson High School.

The members of Chapter 7 Disabled American Veterans of Carson City will be holding its first meeting of the year Jan. 16, 2024. Social time begins at 5:30 p.m. while the meeting begins at 6 p.m. We will have light snacks and refreshments during the social time.

The Carson City Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby is a community organization affiliated with Citizens’ Climate Lobby and Citizens’ Climate Education. Our purpose is to develop and implement activities that provide accurate information about climate change and what can be done to mitigate the effects of climate change.

It seems, this week, so many I know have lost something. Whether it’s a job, health, a relationship, or an expectation, loss is real. It’s emotionally hard. In some cases, it’s a crisis. Loss of a client can hurt or kill a business if a contingency plan isn’t in place. Losing a job or a partner can be life altering. So, how can you recover faster?
