Several hundred plants spanning 60 varieties, including vegetables, squash, strawberries, melons, cucumbers, herbs, and perennial and annual flowers will be available May 7 at Carson City’s Greenhouse Project behind Carson High School.

The members of Chapter 7 Disabled American Veterans of Carson City will be holding its first meeting of the year Jan. 16, 2024. Social time begins at 5:30 p.m. while the meeting begins at 6 p.m. We will have light snacks and refreshments during the social time.

The Carson City Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby is a community organization affiliated with Citizens’ Climate Lobby and Citizens’ Climate Education. Our purpose is to develop and implement activities that provide accurate information about climate change and what can be done to mitigate the effects of climate change.
