Pirates Invade Friday For Highland’s Homecoming

Brandon Paez avenged his only loss of the season to become one of two Lisbon state wrestling titlists Saturday night, joining Cade Siebrecht.

Lisbon heavyweight Wyatt Smith wrestled behind a state medalist his first two years. The junior stepped into the lineup this season and won his state debut Thursday.

Alburnett is coming off its second team title this wrestling season. Talented freshmen have meshed with a good nucleus of returners for more success.
