A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Thursday in the area of West Winnie Lane and North Division for suspicion of DUI and speeding, a sheriffs deputy report said.

Carson City Board of Supervisors approved $75,500 in funding for Curry Street farmers market and related events, with some heated debate over lack of transparency from the Office of Business Development. The board also approved the $3.7 million purchase of the 368 acre Jarrad Ranch on Carson River Road.
