The Childrens Museum of Northern Nevada in Carson City hosted its Safe Halloween Celebration on Sunday, October 28. There was trick or treating as well as spooky Halloween crafts for kids and their parents.

Hello fellow anglers, fall fishing is in the air. This is an awesome time of year to fish the Carson River in Alpine County and nearby Sierra lakes. The waters are running perfect and the colors are spectacular. Plus the fishing is downright fantastic.

Hello fellow anglers. We have a few things coming up soon. As we all know, the California opening day fishing season will start on April 27. The lakes in Mono and Inyo counties will open for the year.

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities around the Carson City region. The American Cancer Society is hosting a poker run Saturday at Mills Park, and a free lacrosse clinic for kids ages 6-12 will be held at John L. Harvey Field.
