The Knoxville School Board held the second and third readings of a new policy Monday, requiring that seat belts be worn by all passengers on equipped buses. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says that since all three readings are complete, the bus can now be used, and is currently being used only for activities. “The new law states that all new school buses must come equipped with seatbelts. The Knoxville School Board made changes to its facilities usage plan and event spectator requirements at its meeting Monday. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says for outdoor events, masks are no longer required. “Groups can use out outdoor facilities, even to host larger events.
