Don't ask for caste papers, treat all Marathwada Marathas as Kunbis: Manoj Jarange Patil
Maratha leader Manoj Jarange Patil is demanding changes in the Government Resolution (GR) issued by the state government. The GR recognizes Marathas in Marathwada as Kunbis, but Patil is demanding a blanket order recognizing all Marathas in the region as Kunbis. A government official said it will be difficult to meet this demand as it would affect other communities caste certificates and dilute the OBC quota.
