Sturgis Journal Cathi Abbs, who retired in 2020 as executive director at Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce, did not let grass grow under her feet. Sturgis City Commission on Wednesday voted unanimously to appoint Abbs to fill a vacancy on the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts Board.
