LOWELL — Sun Santa continues to tally donations from this season's campaign, which has now reached nearly $160,000.

The 20th Annual Lowell General Hospital Themed Basket Raffle for The Sun Santa Fund has concluded and this year’s event netted $55,000 for families struggling to afford Christmas gifts for their kids or a proper holiday meal.

LOWELL — Dozens packed into the Blue Shamrock in Lowell Friday night for former state Sen. Steve Panagiotakos’ 27th Annual Benefit Event for The Sun Santa Fund and It’s All About the Kids, where a record amount of funds were raised for struggling kids and families during the holidays.
