Israel-based Steakholder Foods has dished up the worlds first 3D-printed fish after growing grouper cells in a lab. Scientists claim it melts in your mouth and can be cooked as soon as its printed.

The world's first 3D-printed lab-grown fish that claims to offer the same taste and texture as its natural counterpart. 

Harry Ferguson, operations director of British brand Exmoor Caviar, told The Times the method has become popular with social media users keen to capture snaps for their Instagram.

Scientists, from the firm Caviar Biotec and University College London, have now managed to grow the fish eggs in only 40 days.
