Coca-Cola announces refranchising of bottling operations in select territories in India to three existing franchise bottlers, Moon Beverages, SLMG Beverages, and Kandhari Global Beverages. Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), a subsidiary of Coca-Cola, is transferring bottling operations in three territories. The strategic business transfers aim to bring scale and contiguity to the business, accelerate the Coca-Cola system, and allow Coca-Cola to focus on brands and strategy.
