Delta County announced Thursday a new 24-hour ballot drop box will be available for voters starting Feb. 12. The addition is part of a wider initiative in Delta County to ensure all voters have continuous and secure access to place their vote.

Alleged disrespect and unacceptable behavior from a library board member created tensions which led to the closure of Cedaredge Library Fri. Oct.20 and all Delta County Libraries Sat., Oct. 21.

One library board members allegedly inappropriate actions led to a special work session to address library guidelines and find an appropriate solution to problems caused by an alleged confrontation.

The Delta Public Library has left the Carnegie Building, which will house jail administration and dispatch once the renovations on the aged facility are complete.
