Census Undercount News Today

Rep. Chuck Edwards has introduced a bill that he says would keep non-citizens from unfairly helping determine the number of members of Congress.

Florida’s estimated undercount was 3.5%, or what amounts to about 700,000 people. If that sounds like a lot it is, especially in the context of Congress.

This could short-change the states of federal funding in the current decade.
