A senior Salisbury councillor has hit back at Wiltshire leader Richard Clewer for speaking out over a city public consultation.

A CITY councillor has been left “surprised” by a letter revealing the county council’s resistance to housing in Brown Street car park.

It was always the intention, when the five Park and Ride sites were opened, that city centre parking would be reduced. 

Some city councillors have questioned the link between the CAF and the People Friendly Streets scheme.
