The test run of the transmission line of the 71 megawatts capacity Nilgirikhola-2 Hydropower Project has been successfully conducted.

MYAGDI, Feb 9: The test run of the transmission line of the 71MW Nilgirikhola-2 Hydropower Project has been successfully conducted. The project is based at Narchyang of Annapurna rural municipality-4 in Myagdi district.

The situation at hydel stations is grim. Linganamakki, constructed across the Sharavathi River, has a gross water storage capacity of 151.75 TMC, but it has only 24.04 TMC, which means only 16% of the storage capacity is filled.
