A PLAN to reduce the frequency of buses in Basingstoke has been labelled as "completely the wrong message".

The bus has been running every half an hour during the pandemic, having previously run every 15 minutes. TEN members of borough council staff are at risk of redundancy as part of a raft of cuts to services to balance the authority’s budget.
