Devoted to protecting a womans right to choose. welcome to prime time. are we yet seeing this impact at a granular level, meaning at the clinics themselves in texas? >> oh, yes. it has been a devastating two days since the supreme court turned its back on women, pregnant people, the constitution, the rule of law, and of course, its, you know, clinics, theyre open, so i want people in texas to know they should call their clinics. theyre open, but theyre complying, which means they can only provid...

And then they would ensure that they had safe passage, the last distance, a very short distance left to the airport, through these large crowds that would often gather around the gates. the defense officials said there were times the taliban would help them carry their luggage to the gates. its important to point out theres been criticism that the u.s. was providing the taliban with the manifest of names. while they did give them names of people to go through the check points, the taliban had to...

Things. first off, half of the siv population wasnt in kabul at the time this evacuation began. as weve been noting for weeks now, some 44,000 people were in the outlying cities with no means to get to kabul. so right off the pat we would probably be only to get half of the population, assuming they would be able to get on a plane. as many of us experience, myself included, it was seemingly impossible to get our sivs through the taliban check points or many cases through our own government check...

In terms of at the end of the day 120,000 people were evacuated from afghanistan. that has to be seen as something remarkable in and of itself. but what i think some people felt was lacking from the speech was a tone of recognition of the enormity of the suffering of the afghan people, of the desperation of these people who were willing to crush themselves into taliban check points, to physically grab on to the fuselage of american aircraft carriers because they are so petrified about what the f...

Away. david said it more eloquently than me. we might be done with afghanistan but afghanistan is not done with us. does the white house accept that? >> i think that they accept it in the sense that theres a lot of uncertainty about whats to come with afghanistan. and one thing that stood out to me from secretary blinkens speech last night was he was saying they had been relying on the taliban as a matter of practicality over the last several weeks when it came to letting people get to the airpo...

Theyre confused. theyre scared. theres also a lot of afghans i have spoken to who grew up in afghanistan in the last 20 years, who went to school there, they became lawyers, they became activists, they own small businesses. they were the ones who bought into these promises of, you know, international help for generations, and they dont have anyway of getting to the u.s. but theyre scared to death of being in this new afghanistan, you know, we have spoken to some afghan female lawyers who have --...

Taking five and six days to get to the airport through check points. the blast on thursday capping off a tragic experience for the afghan people and american military on the ground there. >> were waiting for a state department briefing. it was to start at 5:00 p.m. theyre running about 25 minutes late. >> do you mind. >> go for it. >> trey, katie here. i wanted to ask a question about the power structure in the region. the taliban is armed to the teeth with $85 billion worth of our u.s. military...

There could be cases where commanders on the ground coordinating with check points were saying here is individuals we need to get through. in any case that were aware of, those individuals got through. again, these are -- this is coordination thats happening on the ground. i think we can all agree theres a big difference between providing a list of people who want to depart proactively and working at the moment, on the ground, in a coordinated way to get people out and save their lives. >> thats...

Really concerned about his wife, he wouldve called more than once. heck also found janet and david dooleys conflicting stories suspicious. but her version of the story you find more interesting? >> yes, because she is essentially covering up for a criminal. >> remember the disputed audio of janet talking to investigators the day after the murder. >> when is the first time. >> when the first time -- >> yeah, yesterday after -- >> after. >> he came home after -- [inaudible] >> janet dooley denies ...

It seems like if the taliban were in charge of security they shouldnt of let those people through in that horrific attack. >> well, remember kabul is not exactly switzerland. when people get through the check points. these are not tsa check points. its a chaotic street scene. you know people can get through. its not a tight line around the airport. in terms of the relationship between taliban and isis-k its very complicated. one hand theyre rivals. isis-k dont think taliban are extreme enough. o...
