A ribbon cutting took place Tuesday to officially open the Tribune Lofts apartment building at 101 N. Third St. — the former home of the Grand Haven Tribune.

The city of Walker is suspending certain residential permits, spurring outcry from developers and their legal counsel who say the move is a “betrayal” of good faith on the city’s part for projects that already were in the approvals process.
