"Its a great way to look back and celebrate all that the community has accomplished," Mayor Jane Lang said.

Police Chief Aaron Olson said school environments have changed. "Kids are throwing chairs at teachers, hitting teachers, swearing," he said.

The new schedule calls for construction beginning in spring and concluding in early 2024.

"Its a lot of work, but its valuable work that every agency should undertake," Grand Chute Police Chief Greg Peterson said.
