Richland police chief identifies former officer implicated as Joshua Hartfield.

OPD responds to a call of shots fired in Opelousas on South Union St near Madison St Saturday. Officers have yet to speak with victim and have no witnesses.

Opelousas Police officers responded the scene of an accident involving a boxcar train and a vehicle at the intersection of Raymond Street and the Railroad Crossing.

Opelousas, La (KADN)- With three candidates in the race for Opelousas Chief of Police, Graig "Twin" Leblanc, won 53% of the vote and will take office in January.

Officers say the OPD located 23-year-old Easton Shelvin Jr. of Opelousas last night at 10 pm for his involvement in the shooting.
