Officials at a Department of Veterans Affairs facility in Lexington, Kentucky, reportedly removed a Bible from a memorial table for fallen service members and prisoners of war following a complaint from a nonprofit civil rights organization.

"MRFF commends Mr. Armstead for his decision to do the right thing and honor ALL veterans in the VA medical facilities under his control."

    Col. Gary E. Payne (R) of Wimauma, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020.     Col. Payne was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., in August 1950.
