A manufacturer of clerical robes and church furnishings that has been in existence for 220 years is to close its doors after a difficult financial period.

A MAN from Hampshire has uncovered a 23-year-old alarm clock, which still contains a final recording from his late mother.

Ed Morrish, originally from Leeds, re-discovered the clock while digging through his garage and was delighted to find that the wake-up call from his late mother Christine was still available on the clock.

The alarm clock was used to record his mother’s voice in 1998.
