New York City Hall staffer Christopher Baugh was fired after Project Veritas released clips showing him criticize police, as well as Mayor Eric Adams' handling of the migrant crisis.

An aide to NYC Mayor Eric Adams has been fired after he was caught saying that the "optics" of migrant buses from Texas are "bad for Biden."

Fabien Levy, a spokesman for Mayor Adams, noted that Christopher Baugh had been employed at City Hall since ex-Mayor Bill de Blasio’s tenure. “This was a low-level staffer who had no private or special access to the mayor and who wasn’t hired by this administration,” Levy said.

Adams said his mind changed once he saw another clip of Baugh belittling NYPD officers, though. “When you have disparaging remarks about first responders, that’s unacceptable,” said the mayor, himself a retired NYPD captain.
