Bowie County arrests decreased a bit last week from the week before, down from 74 to 59 total. Bowie County Deputies made 21 of those arrests, while other area law enforcement agencies brought in 38.

NEW BOSTON, Texas --A man accused of fathering a child with a 14-year-old girl will be on trial this week in Bowie County.

TEXARKANA, Texas -- A 45-year-old Texarkana man accused of fathering a child with a teen girl is being held in the Bowie County jail with bail set at $200,000.
