We can try to avoid suffering or seek an intellectual answer to the mystery, but Father Christopher Moriconi shows how God responded to it by his own suffering and teaches us how to make the connection between sacrifice and love.

Father Christopher Moriconi suggests that we dedicate not only fasting on this Ash Wednesday for peace in Ukraine, but for prayer and almsgiving as well this Lent so that the season does not pass us by unchanged.
