Divers found a fifth and final body Friday in the Rockfish River in Nelson County, ending a recovery effort that began in December.

Authorities have found the last body that was missing after a vehicle was swept away in December at a Rockfish River crossing in Nelson County.

Divers returned to the site of a submerged vehicle on Friday and found the body of one of two people who were still missing.

A vehicle was swept away in a flooded river last month, killing three people in Nelson County. Two others are missing.
