After several hours of questions, the Glenview Village Board voted 4-2 to approve the proposed Willows Crossing shopping center development.

There was absolutely no drama in the resolution of the big-ticket item placed before the Glenview village board on Tuesday. Trustees voted 6-0 to approve an amendment to a 25-year agreement with Prospect Heights that would clear the annexation of the former Allstate property to Glenview.

The Glenview Village Board of Trustees on June 21 agreed with the City of Prospect Heights to proceed with the annexation of Allstate Insurance Company headquarters property to Glenview.

The realignment plan calls for a reallocation of resources from Station 13, as well as an increase in the number of ambulances in service 24 hours a day.
