Popular Manipuri film actor Soma Laishram has been barred by a civil body from acting and attending social functions for three years. The group, Kangleipak Kanba Lup (KKL), accused her of participating in a beauty pageant in New Delhi despite the ongoing turmoil in Manipur. Film Forum Manipur (FFM) expressed dissatisfaction with KKLs decision and plans to find a resolution.
