A popular fete has raised an amazing £22,000 for a local charity.

A team of adventurers are aiming to raise more than £50,000 for a local hospice by trekking through Iceland.

A metal detectorist has reunited a navy medics family with a First World War medal after unearthing it in his back garden.  Mark Williams, 71, discovered the 1914-15 British Empire Star medal while out detecting at the rear of his house in Waterlooville, Hampshire.
