As we descend upon Week 3, the most important game of the week in the Northeast Georgia area will be East Forsyth’s showdown at Broncos Stadium against Cedar Shoals.

One week of the 2023 high school football season in the books with several Northeast Georgia-area teams living up to their preseason billing, others showing they may be ready to make a move, with several still having some work to do.

Last weeks Games2Watch was a mixture of great defense, high-flying offenses and come-from-behind wins.

Three area teams get under way on Thursday as the 2023 high school football season kicks off around the state and the area. Sixteen more games are scheduled for Friday involving Northeast Georgia teams.
