NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Sophomore Collin Burns had a career-high five RBI thanks to his first career grand slam to lead the Tulane (28-18, 17-6 AAC) to a 14-7 win over UCF (24-28, 14-14 AAC) on Sunday inside Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
Burns, who is the only member of the team to have started all 46 games this season, finished the day by going 3-for-5 at the plate.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Tulane (23-13, 12-1 AAC) closed out an undefeated April with an 11-4 win over Houston (15-22, 3-11 AAC) to complete a doubleheader sweep Friday evening inside Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
The victory marks the Green Waveâs 12th in a row which stands as the programâs longest winning streak since 2001. The Wave have also swept all four of its American Athletic Conference doubleheaders this spring.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Tulane (2-2) snapped its four-game losing streak against the University of New Orleans (2-2) with a 7-1 victory Tuesday night.
Tulane pitching frustrated UNO hitters all night while Jared Hart and Collin Burns combined for five hits, four RBIs, and three runs scored to lead the Green Wave to a decisive win.
“We haven’t found ourselves out in front of many UNO games recently,” head coach Travis Jewett said. “I’m proud of our guys for that. Our guys showed good fight today. They got up off the ground and were quick recovery athletes. I thought they played a clean game.”

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Luis Aviles’ walk-off single and Braden Olthoff’s solid outing led the Tulane University baseball team (1-0) to a 3-2 victory over the University of Louisiana-Lafayette (0-1) in Friday’s opening day matchup inside Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
With the Ragin’ Cajuns leading 2-1 in the bottom of the 10th, the Green Wave took three walks to load the bases. With two outs, DH Luis Aviles ripped a 1-1 pitch into left that scored junior Jared Hart scored from third and sophomore Ethan Groff came in from second to score the winning run.
