Wexford Gardaí have been made aware of a veiled threat made against one of Ireland’s biggest haulage firms, hours after a major fire ripped through an industrial estate which is home to their Welsh offices.
Prior to Christmas, Sinn Féin councillor Tom Forde had called on Wexford County Council to intervene as Tuath tenants were being left without heating or running water as a result of failings in the approved housing body’s emergency line.
As many as 50 Wexford schoolchildren are facing the prospect of having no bus to bring them to school next Monday after Bus Éireann announced their service had been temporarily cancelled.
