Cloud Cups will open a new gelato shop at 2311 Frankford Ave. in Fishtown in March 2023. The business launched in 2018, specializing in CBD-infused gelato, but will focus on traditional gelato at its first brick-and-mortar shop. The company is led by owners Galen Thomas, Kolande Oronti and Drew Posey.

Lokal Artisan Foods and Cloud Cups ice cream have teamed up for a French Toast Bites Gelato in celebration of National Ice Cream Month. The newly created flavor is currently available at several locations throughout Philadelphia, including Spruce Street Harbor Park, Cherry Street Pier, Pizza Brain, Manayunk Pizza, and Ashley's Deli.

Hawthornes Beer Cafe in South Philly will host its block party from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, for the first time in two years. The Beer, Booze, and Bubbly Block Party takes place on11th Street, from Fitzwater to Catherine streets, and we feature a huge selection of craft beer from Philadelphia and the surrounding region.
