SINGAPORE - New coronavirus infections have been linked to 12 more markets and food centres across Singapore, said the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Sunday morning (July 18).
Most cases are fishmongers who are believed to have been infected after coming into contact with stallholders at Jurong Fishery Port.
On Friday, a cluster was found at the port and Hong Lim Market and Food Centre, which brings the total number of markets and food centres where cases have been detected to 13.
In addition, six KTV lounges have been added to the list of outlets where ongoing Covid-19 transmission is likely to be taking place.

MARTINSBURG â One person was injured by gunshot wound outside a local club Friday night, according to Berkeley County Sheriff Curtis Keller.
Keller said the department received the call at 11:20 p.m. on Dec. 25 of a shooting on the property at 80 Aero St. in Martinsburg, the location of Club Aura.
Officers arrived on the scene at 11:32 p.m. and located one gunshot-wound victim lying near a black Mercedes. The victim was a 16-year-old male.
Investigators arrived on the scene shortly after to pick up several items, including surveillance footage, and conducted interviews with witnesses. The car was seized for further evaluation as part of the investigation.
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. â Police said they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound outside a Martinsburg-area bar Friday night.
At 11:28 p.m., the Berkeley County Sheriffâs Department was dispatched to Club Aura at 80 Aero St. for a shooting victim, according to Sheriff Curtis Keller.
Aero Street is just off Charles Town Road, also known as W.Va. 9, east of downtown Martinsburg.
Keller said when deputies arrived, they found the boy lying next to a dark-colored Mercedes-Benz in the barâs parking lot.
The boy was transported to Berkeley Medical Center for what appeared to be injuries that were not life threatening, Keller said.
