The woman had to swerve out of the way to avoid it. Were told by Prince Georges County police that the Nissan Maxima was stolen earlier today from the landover area and was seen in committing several auto thefts. The police saw it. They attempted to stop it. The vehicle didnt stop. At another point, another officer saw the vehicle. It did not stop. And at that point, the vehicle took off and as witnesses tell us here at the scene, at a high rate of speed. Now, what we can tell you is that three people were arrested here at the scene, taken from the nissan. The nissan clipped a vehicle, a chevy of someone who was just driving through here. beside the tracks, according to witnesses, the engineer sounded the horn. trying to get the young person to move out of the way to give a little bit more of a berth. unfortunately, though, according to investigators, the teenager was listening to music. he had ear buds in at the time. the music was too loud, he didn t hear the horn, did not realize that there was a train coming up from behind him. and his right arm was clipped by the passing train. the train was approaching the station as per standard policy. he aired the air horn to let people know they were approaching. they did that, the juvenile was wearing ear phones and was unable to hear the train at the time. therefore he got hit. reporter: the teenager was conscious when transported to the hospital. his injuries primarily to the right arm that was clipped by the passing train. now service was shut down for about two hours this morning. the train did leave the area right around 10:20. now we have normal service in
