Was it the area around the door or was it the door itself. mike: no one was sitting in the seats closest to the door. the plane was flying at 16,000 feet just 10 minutes from the airport. how fortunate were all those factors? >> el -- well, as the chairman said is, its extremely fortunate if because the pressure differential at, say, 35,000 feet is extremely -- its much increased. and if that door panel had gone out, everything that wasnt tied down would have probably gone with it out that door....
