OpenAI's App Store: In many ways, OPENAI is an unusual company, but in November, it did something that is common in the tech industry.

OpenAI has just launched GPT Store, a marketplace where users can build and share GPTs (Generative Pre-training Transformers) to create their own ChatGPT-like AI chatbots. Currently, the GPT Store is only available to users of ChatGPT Plus, Enterprise and Team.

Users shopping on the GPT store will be able to see the most popular and trending chatbots and even search for them by category. 

OpenAI’s GPT store promises to expand the user base for the company and will contribute to the growing AI ecosystem.

Like an app store, people can find novel ChatGPT personalities—and some creators will get paid.
