Dense fog continued to disrupt rail services in Ludhiana, causing delays of 1 to 6 hours. Low visibility due to dense fog has affected rail services across the country, inconveniencing passengers.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi experienced its coldest day this winter on Tuesday, with the minimum temperature dropping to 5.3°C. It was still colder in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh, with the minimum temperatures in Kanpur and Agra dropping below freezing point -- at 1.1 and 1.0°C respectively.

A heavy snowfall is possible around Mid-Michigan on Friday and Saturday followed by the coldest air of the winter so far next week.

Delhi-bound trains faced delays due to weather conditions. Cold day to severe cold day conditions expected to persist in some parts of Delhi.
