The 25th season of the Arena Football League is going to start off with replacement players on the field when the Pittsburgh Power take on the Orlando Predators.

In case you haven't heard, there were a few things that happened on Friday in the Arena Football League.

The Pittsburgh Power and the Orlando Predators are set to play for the second time this season in Week 6 of the Arena Football League season, and the circumstances that they are going to be playing under aren't anywhere near the same as their meeting on the opening night of the season on March 9th.

Orlando Predators' managing partner Brett Bouchy and the Arena Football League Players Union (AFLPU) Executive Director, Ivan Soto were on the air together on the

Unfortunately for Dallas fans, the game quickly proved to be mimic week two. Yet again, Dallas faced a strong opposing team on the road. Again, they looked promising as they opened the game with an unsuspected touchdown. Again, alas, fundamental errors and turnovers cost the Vigilantes another potential victory.

The last time that an Arena Football League team from San Antonio came to Orlando, the San Antonio Force became a dubious piece of league history, getting shut out by the Orlando Predators. It was, and remains nearly two decades later, the only shutout in the history of the league.

Every single week, the story really is exactly the same for the 2012 Orlando Predators. Quite honestly, it's getting boring to write on. Jacksonville went 12-2 in its first two regular seasons in the Southern Division, and it had a 2-1 mark against those foes in the playoffs as wel...

A bizarre night in the Arena Football League got a heck of a lot more bizarre in the second quarter of the clash between the Pittsburgh Power and the Orlando Predators. Prior to the start of the first game of the 25th season, the Predators put their entire team on recallable assignment, while the Power released their entire roster.

When you arguably have the most talented team in the AFL and you're only 1-5, you're bound to get fired. Owner Woody Kern finally pulled the plug on the Ingold experiment and canned his coach for the first eight weeks of the season. Even though we can't really put a finger on any one thing that Ingold did wrong in the Dallas Vigilantes most recent setback to the Chicago Rush, we still felt the need to honor him in some way.
